Death Masks of Living Artists

After our discussion last week, I've done some research on death masks (not to sound morbid), and I think it would be an interesting thing to make them of living artists. This link on Death Masks says you can make them on live, breathing people...

I would just need some brave models who would allow me to put vaseline in their eyebrows...any takers?

Upcoming Dates?

Hey there. Are we meeting this Wednesday?

And if Tom Sarver is available can we have him come on the 28th?

Thanks,

Dave

Fred Tomaselli

As promised here are some images by Fred Tomaselli. They don't come across as well (of course) in reproductions much of the time, but the pieces I've seen in person were quite gorgeous. The imagery teeters on failure, but I think he pulls it off. But, then again, I say this as I'm listening to Phil Collins' "True Colors."
